Liverpool's midfielder, Sadio Mane wrote his name in the history book of the UEFA Champions League after he scored against Villarreal.

The Senegalese scored Liverpool's third goal of the game against the yellow submarines in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League in Spain. The goal he scored took his Champions League tally to 15 goals equalling Didier Drogba's Record. The feat means Mane is the first African to score 15 UEFA Champions League.

Mohamed Salah’s assist for Sadio Mané in the first leg was the seventh time the pair have combined for a goal in the UEFA Champions League; the joint-most of any duo for English teams in the competition, equalling Wayne Rooney & Ryan Giggs and Mohamed Salah & Roberto Firmino.
