UK government states that any player coming into the country from these red-list countries will observe a 10-day period of hotel isolation before the players can return to their club. Sky Sports reported this news on Monday, August 23rd, 2021.

Countries like Argentina, Brazil and Egypt, amongst others, are part of this list. If the association passes the law, players like Mohamed Salah will not be available for the Pharaohs in the World Cup qualifier against Gabon and Angola.

If the quarantine rules are not resolved, then a lot of players will b affected by this decision as clubs will not want to be without the services of their players for ten days.
